French Toast For Gains

A true breakfast of champions. You don't think so? Well, if you make it right... french toast can be a great way to fuel your gains and get some protein in. Let us show you.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • Sugar-free syrup (to taste)
  • Cooking spray or a little oil for cooking

Instructions:

- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and ground cinnamon until well combined.


- Dip each slice of whole wheat bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are coated evenly.


- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray or a little oil.


- Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet or griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.


- Once cooked, transfer the French toast to serving plates.


- Serve with sugar-free syrup drizzled over the top.

 

- You can also add whatever toppings you want like bananas, nuts, or yogurt (optional).
